Confetti Balloons

Balloons and Confetti go together like cheese and fine wine!

We have been incorporating confetti into our designs for a decade, as a finishing touch to our Balloon-in-a-Box, in poppable balloons for Gender Reveals and Confetti Cannons that have been synonymous with New Years events.  Demand has now become so high we’re buying every colour of confetti by the truckload and using confetti designs as the focal feature of our balloon décor.

Our confetti colours!:

We use the worlds best quality Qualatex Diamond Clear balloons to showcase the lovely array of confetti colours.  These balloons are available in Giant 3ft round (90cm) or Large oval 16” (40cm) size. Customers can pick their own mix of colours to combine.  You can choose to have it loose to shake around or alternatively treated with hi-float resin to cling all over (and also a bonus which extends the float life of the balloons by 2-5 days).  Add on a spritz of Balloon Shine for even more sparkle!

Rainbow confetti with a rainbow mix of Qualatex Jewel tone (crystal) balloons. Sure to brighten up this birthday party!:

These beautiful confetti balloons bring lightness, brightness and further dimension to block colours.  As the light shines through them and catches glints of colour they provide a massive impact – perfect when decorating small or large venues. Choose tones of pink for girliness, Gold and Silver metallic for the glitz and glamour of a Gatsby themed birthday, or just include the full rainbow for something bright, fun and smile inducing.

Gold and Caribbean Blue (Aqua/turquoise) themed - 3fts with confetti and tassel, interspersed with large 16" (40cm) balloons. I love this look!:

Baby blue balloons with the big 16" clear filled with blue and silver confetti. Perfect for this amazing baby shower!:

One of the most frequent questions we get asked (aside from if we’re sucking on helium all day long haha) is how we get the confetti into the balloons. We can’t reveal all our trade secrets but can give you a glimpse into some experimenting in our Balloon Lab in this short little video.

Below you will see confetti incorporated with other very on trend adornments – in our durable Bubble balloons with custom printing for an extra special gift, with bespoke hand made tassels and wrapped in lovely light bridal tulle.  Keep track of more of our ground breaking designs on Instagram or our Pinterest page.  Or just give us a call or drop us a line via email – we’re a very friendly bunch here at Balloons.net.au!

Here Comes the Bride…

Wedding planning instantly conjurs up a flurry of ideas – the dress, venue, flowers – but wedding decor can be taken to a whole new level with the addition of balloons.  When brides, grooms and their stylists come to us, they are firmly in two camps – either with a clear vision of balloons to complete their styling or, looking for suggestions and inspiration on current trends.  It’s hard not to get caught up in the excitement as we help to complete their vision as seamlessly as possible on such a momentous occasion.

Before my “balloon life” started in 2010, I had been to 46 (yes 46!) weddings.  In the past six years I’ve managed to bump that up to around 200 – purely as a Balloon Decorator though!  From the ultra luxe thousand guest extravaganza to the most intimate reception, from the 80s themed dance party to the luscious clifftop wedding, Balloons Online has found the perfect balloon match to every wedding theme thrown at us.

The classic and most popular look has been our giant, white 3ft round balloons.  I have seen this utilised in so many elegant and very cute ways – for the flower girl and ring bearer to walk down the aisle with, table toppers in a grand outdoor marquee, as props for the wedding shoot, or with embellishments such as bridal tulle, flowers or ivy (or all three!).  It is an affordable and versatile way to style a wedding.

There has been a marked rise in bespoke, boutique wedding stylings in the past few years with wonderful application and pops of colour.  Rather than stick with the traditional monochromatic white look, soft pastel tones in Blush, Pink, Wintergreen, Spring Lilac, Ivory and Lemon Chiffon have been favoured.  I love the warm romantic tone they set without being overpowering. Matching the tone of balloons to the flowers or table settings is a fun challenge that brings a coordinated and stylish edge to the event.

One of my favourite styles has been the rustic, organic, earthy feel where we can team balloons with twine attached to jars filled with gorgeous rocks or to lovely garlands of ivy that have worked so well with outdoor weddings.

More whimsical weddings have even incorporated giant Megaloon letters to spell out Love or YAY or the names of the lovely couple.

Ombre has been a massive trend in fashion and hair styling – now see it in balloons! The boldest wedding look of 2016 has been incorporating deep Crimson and Burgundy at the darker end of the ombre palette before moving into Rose, Blush and Ivory.  Can’t you just picture Kendall or Kylie Jenner with this on their wedding day?  The first picture is the inspiration shot we’ve been sent many times and the second is our creation incorporating tassels and flowers.

For our most recent wedding, we created a heavenly, organic cloud structure with warm white lighting built throughout.  I’m calling it now that clouds and lighting will be the next big wedding trend!  So keep an eye out for a more detailed blog on this in the near future 🙂

These are just a few of my  favourite photos, but if you’re feeling inspired check out our Pinterest Wedding Balloons board or Instagram for the latest trends and stylings.
